Today is day two! Let me tell you...it kicked my ass!! I thought day one was hard? Oh no...no not at all compared to day two. Today was only Plyometrics, and I am thanking God it was the only exercise for day two.
Plyometrics is basically nothing but squats. There is a lot of movement and mixing squats with some cardio. A lot of the exercises required squatting along with movement. For example, there was an exercise called Leapfrog Squats. Basically, you are in the squat position and you hop forward twice then backwards twice for thirty seconds. That doesn't sound too bad right? NOPE! Thirty seconds is a long time! All together it was about 60 minutes of nonstop cardio and squatting. It took me about five minutes just to go downstairs after that.
I did practice some archery right after (and ironically shot a lot better than usual), but after all of that, I got some ice out and iced my legs and back. I never knew ice packs would feel so good after that kind of work out. I'm hoping that by doing that, I won't be as sore as I could be.
