P90X Day Fifteen and Sixteen

So yesterday, I got exhausted after going to physical therapy for the first time in Lynchburg.  Apparently, Lynchburg's physical therapy is a lot harder to do than Richmond's.  By the time I got home, I was too exhausted to do P90X, so sadly I skipped a day.  However...

I did complete day sixteen!  Plyometrics.  I've done the exercise three times now, but it still kicks my butt.  I have lost three pounds since I have started though.  I even had Taco Bell for lunch haha.  I'll make up for it by packing a healthier lunch tomorrow...even though my version of healthy is really just adding carrots to the meal...eh heh.

Perhaps tomorrow I'll have healthier meal...probably not.

P90X Day Nine

Day Nine

After a mild day of classes and running to the store, I came straight home to do the work out.  Again, today was Plyometrics, and it still kicked my ass!

Once again, I did a lot of squats and running around.  This time I was able to squat a little lower, and go a little longer on each exercise.  At the beginning of the work out, my legs felt a little funny doing squats again, but after a few minutes of warming up, it was alright.  It's times like these when I wish I had a fan in my room.  All I can do is open my window a little and pray to God it will close correctly.  After the hour long work out, I took a cold shower and it felt GOOD!! Still wasn't cold enough though, my face is still beet red! haha

Takes a lot of energy but it is worth it.  I can already tell a different :)

P90X Day Two

Today is day two!  Let me tell you...it kicked my ass!!  I thought day one was hard?  Oh no...no not at all compared to day two.  Today was only Plyometrics, and I am thanking God it was the only exercise for day two.

Plyometrics is basically nothing but squats.  There is a lot of movement and mixing squats with some cardio.  A lot of the exercises required squatting along with movement.  For example, there was an exercise called Leapfrog Squats.  Basically, you are in the squat position and you hop forward twice then backwards twice for thirty seconds.  That doesn't sound too bad right?  NOPE!  Thirty seconds is a long time!  All together it was about 60 minutes of nonstop cardio and squatting.  It took me about five minutes just to go downstairs after that.

I did practice some archery right after (and ironically shot a lot better than usual), but after all of that, I got some ice out and iced my legs and back.  I never knew ice packs would feel so good after that kind of work out.  I'm hoping that by doing that, I won't be as sore as I could be.

Let's keep this up!!
