AT&T and Verizon Compete

On February 10th, the iPhone will come out for Verizon.  For a while the biggest problem with the AT&T iPhone was the fact that the service would drops calls a little too often.  Already reviews are coming out for Verizon and so far they are looking good.  Verizon's service, while using the phone, has the least amount of dropped calls when compared to AT&T.

Another positive was that Verizon had more signal bars.  From the looks of it, you'll be able to keep a phone call longer or be able to access the internet a lot easier with your iPhone...as long as its with Verizon.

There is a small let down.  If you are texting to a non-Verizon phone, then your texts will be split into 160 character texts.  Even though it isn't that big of a deal, it can be a let down for someone sending a very large text. "The Verizon iPhone works in about 40 countries, including Mexico, Canada and China; AT&T phones, on the other hand, work in 220 countries." - Yahoo article

So far it looks like Verizon is going to win when it comes to who has better service for the same Apple product.  Even this summer, there is talk of the iPhone 5 being released, but as of now its not positive.  Good luck AT&T but you may be loosing some customers...unless they like to travel internationally all the time.
