High School Friends...Gone

You know, I remember those days as a senior in high school when everybody promised we would all stay close and never loose touch.  Of course that didn't happen.  A few friends are still in college, and a few others are working. And some are doing both!  I think everyone is doing very well with their lives, but I wonder why its so hard for people to want to keep in touch.  I try with as many of them as I can...all depends on who responds to my messages lol.  Sometimes I never get an answer and sometimes I do, depends on who can take a break from their lives.

I didn't know it was that hard to see that someone has messaged you and just answer back later at night when people aren't working.  I understand people forget sometimes, but all the time?  Maybe I should just focus on my own life right now and stop bothering to be a part of things with old friends.  I know really only one friend who I can always get a hold of because we both make an effort to keep each other in our lives.  She's practically my sister, and her mother is my other mom.  

(PS can't wait for her daughter to come into the world and see her finally =]...hopefully I won't be at school yet lol ).   

Well I can't get out of everything.  I'm going to be in a wedding I want to be a part of, but sometimes I feel like I'm not even a part of it.  Nobody is talking to me about it (offered to help too).  Everyone has great things going for them and I hope they all have great lives and remember to keep good friends close.  Man it feels like 10 years ago again -_- life is fun.   

But!  I still got my family and my work, and that's all awesome too.  Not to mention the friends I have from college (wish they weren't so damn far away lol)
