Lasik

Today I had my Lasik Consultation!  My doctor for this procedure is Dr. Cooper in Richmond.  So far it looks pretty good.  I have a date set and it only takes over night to recover enough to see.  I'm excited yet a little nervous.  Even though they're going to give me medicine to relax me and numbing drops to dumb the eyeball (which by the way is the weirdest feeling ever!) its still a little unnerving when you see things coming for your eye.  They poked my eye quite a few times today.  I couldn't feel anything, but the concept makes me nervous.

They're going to cut a flap off my eye, then do the laser surgery.  After that the flap goes back over.  I just have to make sure to put in hoops for my cartilage earrings.  Apparently you can't wear an earring with a bar because of how they are going to be holding my head in place.  I am going to feel so claustrophobic and nervous.  And of course Dad is going to be watching and laughing away!  People can watch you have the procedure done...creepy.
