Changes in 2012

2012 will bring in new changes. This blog is to help me keep to the changes that I want to make. First and foremost, I spend way to much money. The DVDs, itunes apps or songs, electronics, etc are just too much. I could be spending my money on other things that are more important. This is my last semester of college, so I need to prepare to save money for bills, and start taking over my own expenses. I want to start my career in writing so my father won't have to pay for me anymore. I want to be grown up, and not relying on him. I want to help him out. Not the other way around. Speaking of my career, it brings in my second point. I am determined to find an agent who will want to take a chance on me this year. I want deadlines, I want my agent calling me, telling me to write, edit, and much more. Writing has become my passion, and I hope that one day people will enjoy my work. I have a lot of help from my other mom, Beth. She is a wonderful person who supports me, and helps me in any way possible. I want to find a way to thank her and give her credit for helping so much. This year, I will go to conferences, I will send out query letters, and doing anything I can to write for a living. My ultimate goal is to have one of my books become a movie! It will happen. Finally, I want to have a stronger connection with God. I don't go to church, and I haven't gone in years. Because of that, I want to read the Bible every night and write down what I think about certain verses. It is going to be hard, but living with the God and the bible in mind all the time will only make me a better person. This is going to be hard. All of these things will require a lot of work, but I am going to make it happen. In the end it will be worth it. I will graduate with a bachelors and have a GPA of a 3.0 or higher, and I will write all the time. I want my mother and father to be proud of me. I want to prove to my father that I can be successful in my life. I hope he will be proud of me, and even though my mom isn't here for me anymore, I hope she is still proud. I hope all of you can create great new years revolutions and keep to them! Wish me luck and I will wish you luck! More of these will be created. More books to be written!!
