Borders is finally filing for bankruptcy. It's been fighting hard and trying to stay in business, but sadly it lost. Too be honest, I am really upset about that. I love Borders! It's my favorite book store. If it were in Lynchburg, I'd be going there all the time. They are planning on closing 1/3 of the shops soon.
For now it's shrinking and trying to save what business they have left. Barnes and Noble could take advantage of this, but it wouldn't be a good idea. Barnes and Noble have been having their own troubles lately and they are suffering as well.
