After surfing yahoo for a while, I see an article that just makes me plain sad. At Memphis's Frayser High 20% of the females are pregnant! For crying out loud people! So many pregnancies in one high school are you kidding me? Why are teenagers so eager to grow up and have sex? It makes no sense to me. I haven't had sex yet and I'm 21, but that's because I'm not going to just have sex with my first boyfriend. If I ever do it will be with someone who I really want to be with. I wouldn't let hormones rule my life and be ignorant and think that a guy is going to be with me forever if I sleep with him.
Sorry this whole article frustrates me. Please young girls! Stop having sex! You'll probably only regret it. Pregnancy is a huge risk for a teen and the show Teen Mom isn't saying HAVE SEX GET PREGNANT for the show. The whole show is about why not to have sex as a teen. Just wait till you are older and more mature. It's smarter because if you have sex when you already have money rolling in and you get pregnant then you will be ready to take care of it.
I salute teen mothers because if they are raising a child when so young it is something to commend them for but I don't approve of the early age sex. There are even 11 year olds these days that are having sex. Can't we go back to board games, video games, and just plain hanging out to have fun! It really is fun I swear! Because when you try to act like your really mature and don't want to be a child then you are missing out on a childhood that you could look back on and feel happy with those memories. Because you could have once be a carefree child. Sorry, had to rant.
