Addiction

There are many kinds of addictions in this world. Drugs, alcohol, shopping, etc. The list goes on and on. I think I have found mine. Ever shopped on Amazon? Its so easy to get what you need and get what you don't need easily. Usually when you think a shopping problem, you think of women shopping for clothes, jewelry, blah blah blah. Not me. My addiction is shopping for games and DVDs on amazon.
After seeing my credit card bill for last month it really became apparent. My instant gratification has become a problem. I really wish amazon didn't have prime membership or the 1-click buy. Makes it way too easy...then again that's the whole point! Damn you amazon and your selling strategies.

This month I need to break my habit!! I won't be buying anything on amazon or anywhere else for that matter, with the exception of the grocery store and gas station. Plus, Christmas and my birthday are coming up. I need to have something on my list! Hmm maybe I should ask my friend to make a budget for me to help me take control of my bank account. If I can come up with some techniques that help stop spending, I will definitely post it!

The first thing I know that can help stop spending: laziness.

Believe it or not, being lazy can make it so you won't buy things that aren't necessary. When your sitting on the couch watching TV and you see a commercial with something you want, you may want to grab the computer and order it. Laziness can make you think you'll order it later, when you forget all together hours later! ...maybe this should work on my snacking too. Lol

Once I discover more I shall post. I'll also admit when I've bought things that could have waited.

Btw don't forget that Dead Dreamer is on sale right now for only $6.99 on amazon as an ebook (ironic right?). Go, buy, and review! :)
